John Carroll, assistant scoutmas ter, gave a talk on sea scouting. He does not think it a very good idea to start sea scouting until a scout has passed eagle scout tests, because a sea scout could not enjoy it much because of lack of water. A scout is entitled to become a sea scout when he has passed his first class requirements and he may also carry on both scouting and sea scouting at the same time. John Carroll will be our scout master this summer in the absence of Mr. Gillis. Mr. Carroll is going to organize a drill team for the scouts so that they may acquire some knowledge of military affairs.
